I don't know if this has been posted by anyone before, but....

I just wanted to say how great this forum was(well moreso than usual) on that day of infamy. There was a different quality to this board. We all shared our reactions as the news happened, I myself spent more time here than watching the news. We were all stunned together and we all grieved together, we all supported each other.

I must say that it has been the only day that I felt glad that I was unemployed and was able to spend my time with all of you. This forum has made that day more vivid in my mind and I won't soon forget it.

Thank you all, I feel it was a day well spent with a great bunch of people, I just wish it had been a joyous occasion, instead!

Stay safe everyone!

Mark

What a lovely sentiment!

I, too, spent most of that day (and the day after) glued to my monitor. You see, I had no radio and no access to a t.v. IW was the only place I COULD get information. All the 'news' sites were bogged down. I at least took comfort in the fact that everyone here was so supportive of each other in their grief. And I thank each and every one who kept it together enough to watch or listen and then post that news here for those of us who, otherwise, would have had to wait for hours with fear and trepidation to get any viable information.

((((hugs)))) to you all!
