Do you not know of the fabled well in Eeofol? It's part of the original game...

In front of the GM Armsmaster's house is a wishing well, similar to the one in the Bracada Desert. Many things can happen when you wish, ranging from death, stoning, eradication, and wiping out of AC to gaining money and... dum dum DUM!!!! Skill points!

Yep, you can get 10 skill points at a pop. Sit there long enough, and you can be like my party, where everyone's got over 400 extra skill points.

The downside, of course, is all that death and eradication stuff.

But guess what... GM Protection from Magic prevents that from actually happening... either until the spell runs out, or it saves you (x) times, where (x) is your level in Body when you cast it.

Soooooo.... get that cleric up to level 30 or 40 in Body, cast, and away you go! Just save early and often, so when your Protection wears off, you don't have to reload *too* far back in the past.

All my party is GM in their available skills, and up to L10 in those skills they're going to have in their second class. I'll take a look tonight at the Tank to see what his exact specs are... he's a beast right now, in any case.

Hmm, I think I knew that, now that you mention it, but I have bothered to mess with it.

As I mentioned; I have 4 monks right now, so high cleric spells are out; unless I can get it with dual classing. I'm just going to do the second promo now and a few other secondary quests... boy, they are fast!

You could use the well in Kamikaze fashion...

Deposit all your gold in the bank. Head to the well and drink until everyone dies. Be resurrected. Lose all gold (except what's in the bank, of coursE). Head back to the well. Repeat ad nauseum.

Just completed the Maximus quest last night. I'm now regretting those dark magic books I sold... but in any case, the mod is *quite* different from the regular game! Very enjoyable... even if I seem to be staying up until 2-3AM consistently...

I just took on 4 Dragons in the titans strong hold. I had some trouble paralyzing them with my wand so I went right up to them and beat the crap out of 'em. I didn't even enter turn based mode. Pretty good for lvl 31. The titans are a pain 'cos I keep croaking!

Berzerk is your friend with dragons... corners are your friend with Titans

I ran into the Titan Stronghold invisibly just to get the Perfect Bow. I'm carrying too much other junk around... don't have space to collect proper loot Plus it was a bit difficult with the titans... cleric spent all his time healing everyone, including that frail little sorcerer...

Hmmm... finished the Gauntlet and Coding Fortress tonight, and I believe I got hit with the same thing you did, Variol. Can't leave unless I have the Vori password...

Checking to see if I'm just being dense, or if I missed something in there along the way... stay tuned...

I just finished it last night again too. Same thing...
I'm glad I had a teleport scroll. I was a little disappointed with my choices. My monks were given archer, druid and thief as the 3 options.
I think cleric should have been in there as well. I took Druid to get better clerical and new mage spells.
..and alchemy! I need pure personality and intellect!

I neglected to get a druid... pure oversight, I believe. I *do* like GM Alchemy...

Both my main spellcasters went paladin, so now it's back to Harmondale where I've been storing a Noble Plate of the Phoenix and Yoruba, the plate artifact. Knight went ranger (I think; it was late), and thief went monk.

GM Ancient weapons and a haste spell is really, really not fair....once I got past the initial burst of Behemoths in the breeding zone, it was just sit and wait for them to come to the slaughter. Sold all my bows of carnage because they're just not needed.

Made sure to harden the blaster rifles, though... don't want 'em getting broken mid-battle.

And the battle back out of the Gauntlet was far easier than the battle getting there... I was expecting it to be completely repopulated, rather than a small subset. Oh, well...

How are the four monks going?

Ahh Yoruba, nice,
Ahh, blasters.. and haste,

I don't think my blaster rifles have ever broken, but it never hurts.

Exiting the gauntlet is not too bad.

So, the monks are all druids now. I'm trying to up all their skills. I just got GM alchemy so, I'm gonna be doing a lot of mixing now...
