Re: Hey Z! Grimrock...
Oh yeah! I got the beta, and I'm messing with it. We're waiting on a 3dmax plugin that will import *.model files into max, and export them back to *.model when done.
I plan on remaking Eye of the Beholder 1 and a NEW Eye of the Beholder 4. I will need scripting help, but I can do the wallsets, textures and 3d models of the monsters in EOB. I've waited YEARS for a EOB style editor that allowed importing content to remake that classic, and it should be fun!! BTW, I'm almost to the end of Grimrock-- level 9.. Those blue Dinos are tough suckers!! This has to be the best game I've purchased for $14.99 in a LONG time.. 9/10 rating. The Puzzles and atmosphere is just right.

Re: Hey Z! Grimrock...
Legend of Grimrock is indeed a brilliant game. I've finished it on normal and are about 3/4 of the way through my hardcore playthrough. (with no automapping). The puzzles are genuinely a pleasure to solve and work out for yourself and show that old-school dungeon design. Experimenting with party design is also very fun.
It's going to be really fascinating to see what fans will be able to do with the editor. Speaking of other enjoyable indie titles, I also purchased the second Avernum trilogy recently (Spiderweb/Jeff Vogel) after really enjoying my time with Avernum: Escape from the Pit. That little bundle of joy only cost $6 but took me over a 100 hours to complete. Turn-based, party based goodness.
