What a night. After a loss to Canada in women's hockey, the US got another semi dissapointment when Irina Burtroskia (sp) place ahead of Michele Kwan in the women's free skate. This propulsed Sarah Hughes to a gold medal after a magnificient skate in her program.

Good for her!

I watched that! Wow huh? Notice how Sarah had the 'sparkle'? and the others looked way to serious? Almost non-happy looking.. but Sarah was all smiles. She also went out to 'enjoy her self' and skate, and probably didn't have as much pressure/stress because of that mindstate.

I could not BELIEVE Michele Kwan fell.. After all this time, and to fall. Sucks.

Sarah was awesome!

I had wanted Michelle to win though, but she certainly wasn't her usual self..oh well, least the US got the gold!
