(To me atleast) I've been working on some code that speeds up PHP.

Anyone else? It really seems to be faster--clicking on messages is like.. "POP" much better!

BTW, I've also been hiding out working on my new website design! Oh MAN... You will like it! I've finished everything except the new Wizards & Warriors site.

I'll post a link to a sneak preview in a day or so... It's SO HUGE.. jeez, thank god I won't have to do this again--now that I use full SSI coding!

Yeah, it does seem faster, actually. Good job, Ziroc.

As for the sneak preview, does it happen to be the same as you gave us a long time ago, namely this?

And sorry for being curious Ziroc, but any news on the new forums you were going to introduce?

Hah! Yes and No. What you see there is a dead link (in a way). I have been building that same area on THIS Domain only. (Because the damn TGEWEB.COM Domain is so damn slow to test on. (I'm going to bite the bullet and move tgeweb to this server because readyhosing just sucks--I can get my money back, so that isn't too bad.

Don't go by THAT link though, because what you are looking at is not in use I want to surprise ya. (Don't go looking for it on THIS server, it's hidden Muhaahahah...

I DO need to delete that old crap though.. see, it was WAY to hard to work the updates into an already running site, and I want to keep the same file names, so I decided to create a new temp dir here, and basically remake each file, and dir and some NEW dirs, and then, when it's time, del everything on the tgeweb/ironworks dir, then upload the ENTIRE new site. Much easier!

Well...Bob I'll tell ya! I just added one new Forum for the NWN Expansion (pak1). But the two others I have in the works will cover Debates in a way, as well as one for the Ironworks Online Gaming forum (for a diff purpose). Hell, I may have to add TWO just for THAT, but we'll see!

Those new Forums will be coming a bit later, because I gotta finish this new design, because I have SO much I want to add to the game areas. I should be soon though. Maybe the end of the Month.

Oh yes, by the way, I went to my Banner Company (Value Click) and restricted ANY AND ALL Tobacco, Casino, Alcohol. As well as ALL those 'shaking' banners that said you 'won' something.. Banners like that make sites looks silly, and cheap.

And made damn SURE, that Gator crap is OFF forever. I love how they never email you and tell you when NEW banners come online.. so I don't know if any of the above start showing up, I gotta go look at a list of banner companies to see. UGH!

So, for NOW, the site is clean of that crap.

N E V E R Mind! "LOL"
But really I can hardly wait to see what you've done to the forums. Thanks for getting rid of that Gator crap! I was taking 5 to 6 gators out of my computer after each visit to Ironworks and was going crazy trying to figure out where they were comming from.

Great Z! You're right, this will show that Ironworks is very serious indeed. Gator pop-ups tend to make the opposite. As for faster it does seem that the page loads a little faster. And I can't wait to see the new W&W site.
