Due to circumstamces beyond my control I have had no PC for most of the last 5 days. I now have a new CD reader, a new processor, a new mother board, a new version of windows, a large hole in my pocket - but still no ICQ!!

So for those who are used to being harrassed by the daft biddy - I ma sorry but I am not ignoring you deliberately

Hi Ya Kiwidoc!!
I haven't been on much mayself lately. Hope everything is goin great for ya...what happened with the Wyvern??
Here's the link for downloading ICQ again. After you install it you can still use your old number when you hit the registration window. That way you don't have to get a new number and start your list all over again.

Take Care and see ya round the boards.

I have downlaoded ICQ till I am blue in the face and reinstalled it countless times. Everytime I try to start it it tells me there is an exe error, and that windows is making an error file, and please retart the program.

Please 'retard' the program doc?? (my sp. is as good as yours) Now there we might just have your problem... hehe

What was your old account #?. Who knows ... it's probably still on the ICQ server somewhere. Mail me and we'll try?!

Unless of course you truly are dead in the water here... perhaps still another fresh download then? What is your version number?

Has anyone seen probs with ICQ in newer versions of Win??

...But I thought you mentioned you reformatted your harddisk just a week ago! None of the cookies or registry files should have survived that... So doing a fresh install of icq shouldn't cause any problems IMO... What exactly did you do with your computer the last week, kiwi?

While installing ICQ you should remain connected to the internet. At least that has fixed some problems before with friends. Try doing that Kiwidoc and see what happens.
