I'm midway through a game based on selling H'Thark's lockpicks back to Gorthius, and I found myself in Ishad N'ha-ha-ha with an amazing amount of ankhs. I decided to take advantage of the trick where you drop an ankh in a store and it magically appears in the storekeeper's inventory.
The real benefit is that if you buy it and drop it a second time, there are now *two* ankhs in inventory. Drop another one, and there are three. And so on, and so on... Once you buy the ankhs, they're gone from the shop... until you drop one again. Once you drop one, all the others magically reappear in the shop. I hadn't known that, and it came in handy. I then decided to experiment a little, and discovered that if you drop *anything*, the ankhs reappear. I dropped some powder, and the ankhs replenished. If I hadn't just upgraded one of my Barlocks to be an assassin, I'd try it with the assassin's dagger to see if it could create multiple. I may try it with Dragon plate or some other rare item, like the wizard's blade I found in Shurugeon Castle. BTW, I refer to the party as Barlocks because they were three Barbarians and three Warlocks... and Warbarians doesn't have as nice of a ring to it Thought I'd share... still more stuff waiting to be found!

Confirmed... you can duplicate wizard's blades that way as well.

Hmmm... doesn't appear to work on Treant seeds...
I stole Oakenmir's, and was hoping I could duplicate it. Bummer

Does work on the heart of the dragon, though.
I suspect it will work on anything that costs money... seeds are zero value, but everything else I dropped has a value. I'll have to experiment some more.
