Whats with the idiot NPC's in this game? Every time I fight anything, it dies, and every melee character tries to go stand on the corpse! It's like a barbarian thing, placing one's foot on the cadaver's chest while screaming an animal war cry (which is also inaudible) and thumping one's own chest. This gets really annoying when trying to collect the spoils of the fight, having to move a certain character away. Pfffft!

They act like that because you told them to.
When you order a melee NPC to attack someone, they'll always walk up to the corpse when it's dead. Why, I don't know, but then, why not?
Don't know if this'll work, as I've never tried, but perhaps they'll stop doing that if you turn off the AI?

The reason they stand on the dead NPC is so you can take their armor and treasure. You just have to right click that character and then pick up the treasure if any the dead one had. It has nothing to do with being a Barbarian, or pounding on your chest and screaming. How have you been collecting the treasures the bad guys have or didn't you know you could have anybody in your group pick up things? Your main guy cant carry everything and everybody can pick up.

TheCrimsomBlade, players generally try to pick items with a pop-up-loot-corpse-menu, the same one that appears when looting a container. Picking the items while in inventory is tedious work if there is many corpses.

After fighters kill an enemy, all of them try to step on the corpse. The easiest way to stop them is to press stop key. I have it bound to letter k.

Adventures do not want to get monster-blood on their hands. Therefor they kick the dead body with one of their feet, until the gold/gems/spells or whatever falls of the dead body

Whenever the last enemy dies, click on the 'select party' button and thereafter on the first dead body. In this way your party will stop, except the leading character who will walk to the body and activate the treasure menu.
