Hi All,

Well I just got the Monk's Ward quest from the Brimlock Roon Temple... Trouble is I accepted the quest under the impression that I was still carrying the Monk's Ward.

Turns out I dropped it somewhere and cannot find it anywere now. I retraced my steps to where I last had it (while using Spirit Eye) to no avail.

It appears that the Monk's Ward has dissapeared from where it was dropped.

I could go back to an older save to get another, but that would mean redoing the entire shrine of Anephas that I just completed... And I never had the Ward while I was in there. I double checked on an older save... Haven't had it for a while.

I am a level 7 guild member with both of my Priest affiliated characters and never did have a Monk to use the item anyway... I could just go back and not accept the quest... Should I worry about not completing this quest? Will it affect anything else in the game? Is there a way to "duplicate" the item from an older save and place into my new save?

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Sharde

There is a way to "hack" an item into one's inventory. There is a thread on how to do it somewhere on this forum. But your best bet is to wait for Wyvern to come online. She can help you with the details.

Oh and Wyvern... How about adding the hacking procedure to the best tips? That way it will stay at the top as a sticky.

Missing the monk's ward quest will not impact the playing of the game. So there's nothing to worry about missing it (other than the frustration).

Search the forum (see the Search option above) and look for "Hack assassin dagger". That's usually the most requested item, and I think Wyv has documented the process well there.
