some advice. Slap your DM in the face
Or if he does it again, punch him out [ 07-23-2002, 09:46 AM: Message edited by: Deathbringer ] |

he's a complete butt. Killer GMs always are.
only times characters in my games have died is from player stupidity, though poor dice luck has almost claimed some GM hints which got ignored (fatally): "Are you SURE you want to charge into the Anti-Christ's domain on your own?" Player stupidity: "Why is everyone runnning past me at breakneck speed? what on Earth could be...." "A beholder? oh what the hell - DIVE BOMBAS!!!!!" <--- this char got lucky and didn't die, though it ended up with the most embarassing death for a beholder *I've had 2 in my games* calledd the Death-defying Dwarf |

If he REALLY wants to be fair, he should allow you to create a higher level character, with ordinary equipment.
OR, run a couple of "private adventures" for just your character to give you a chance to "catch up". If you're happy with him, that's what really matters. Still, it couldn't hurt to ask. At 4th level, you will still be "lower" than the ones who've managed to survive, so it isn't like the DM is ignoring thier work. PLUS, I STILL have a problem with the way he allocates experience. I think you're being singled out, uss. It's VERY coincidental that YOU keep having such "bad luck".
