Hey, I'll work for free if it means getting away from my devilish little cousin who is visiting tommorrow.

BTW, when to stop working depends on your job. If your job is living hell, then you'd quit once you had enough savings to last you out. If it was paradise, then what is stopping you from working until you're 65? You get a good time and make money.

I work for myself. I own three retail outlets selling furniture/appliances/electronics etc.. For the most part, I could do without the stress, but I don't think I could "do nothing."

Oh, pitty the poor wealthy man. He has such a hard life!

Actually, you're not too far from the truth with that. Were the average person who has lots of money to lose all that wealth suddenly and unexpectedly, they would fare much worse than those who have lived without much money--they wouldn't know how to live without money! Also, those with money always have to be on guard for those who would do anything for a quick dollar--something with which you are unfortunately and painfully familiar.

WAIT!! I just now noticed that you were from Canada. I have some bad news, Animal. You will have to work untill the day you die because $3 mil Canadian is only worth around $50 American

If you don't mind me asking, how did you come into your money? Was it something you strived hard for all your life or was it a windfall/inheritance type thing (ie: something you came into it suddenly)?
