Mods, feel free to lock this thread down. The only reason I started it was because someone....I won't mention names...figured that everyone here on IW was too much of a wuss to start one.

So this is not, I repeat NOT, a serious thread.

Personally, I vote for Johnny for Miss Ironworks 2004!
I think his performance in the beer drinking competition was exceptional.

Contestants will be rated based upon the following categories:

1. Beer Drinking
2. Spamming
3. Fishnet speedo competition.

Johnny wins all three!

Ummm perhaps you should widen the criteria already. Obviously you were too much of a wuss to post a serious Miss IW thread Of course to be politically correct, you'd have to post a Mr IW as well so the girls could get their own back.

Well Johnny does win in those categories you mentioned. As for drinking, Xzibit said it well:
"I can drink a whole Henessey fifth
Some call that a problem but I call it a gift"
wonder what Johnny calls it?

Anyway, think of some less restricting categories then I'll vote

Heh, well I will mention names, and I think you're still a wuss because as Vaskez said you didn't dare start a serious thread!

But let's get on-topic; obviously it's the Lord of Alcohol who should win the fishnet speedo category. No contest, really.

Well, I didn't see anyone else starting a thread, or coming up with any categories. Okay how about these:

4. Flame-bait competition
5. Thread-killing competition
6. Troll tossing competition

So all you smart-alecs who figured it was too restrictive better come up with some yourself.

Well I'd have categories for:

- most stupid thread creation
- sarcasm
- wittiness

for a start, I'll try and think of some more

Ooh, touchy.

These categories aren't comparable to the Miss Universe thing, I think that was the complaint. And also, you're making it into a general "awards" thread which mods usually go berserk about for some reason.
But all right, I'll play: I think most of the trolls were rooted out and kicked out quickly enough so we never got to know em. Huh. What a pity. And the flame-baiting category... actually most people who post in CE have been guilty of it, to a greater or lesser extent. Whether they want to admit it or not.

Notorious threadkillers, then. I'm not sure we have any. In fact I wish we could trade a few thread-resurrecters and thread-beat-to-deathers and thread-flooders for a bunch of thread-killers.

Sadly, I am not allowed to vote nor participate in the contest.
