I like Ninja better.
There's no wrong about Samurai, but ninja can learn moon magic...
And also 2th weapon and double strike, that samurai can learn too...

If you plan on having more than one...Ninja, is easier..

You have to do 1 round trip per character...for the Samurai....and if the 'Salads' are still around...that can be fun.

But IMHO....the Samurai's 'Tiger strike' is very useful, early on...and you can always do Ninja later.

There are plenty of points...in the dungeons, of the shire
You can easily do, both...before 'Dragon Spire'....

Hmmm...
I'm training my Samurai 11th level, into warlock.
Can't find any skeleton skull...
Mayby must go back to Valeia and search some skeletons near cryp.

P.s. I tryed Summon undead spell and summoned some skeletons, but thay never 'drop' their head while dying...

The Question:
Or should I first train that warrior-->samurai into ninja and then into warlock? What you suggest?

I'd go into warlock first, and then into ninja. One of the things I like at the end is to have everyone able to use swords and good armor. Warlocks can't, no matter how you look at it. That's why I try to have no more than one character in that mode at a time.

Of course, the real answer to your question is to try it both ways and see which one you like. You're the real judge when it comes to your game

I agree with the above but still think you should train to ninja first . The reason for that is that you get moon magic but no other magic school, so you can push that one to the top. Then you change into a warlock and add the spells you missed but still want (in any magic class). You can then change your warlock into something else later. I usually end up with 5 barbarians and a monk for some reason lol. Yes I like to have the barbarian as the last class, mainly to not gain that many hitpoints early and make the game somewhat tougher. You can always save in a new slot, try out either warlock or ninja, reload and try out the other class and see which one you like the best.

Mmmm... I'd disagree, Willow. You get moon with Warlock as well, so by the time you're a level 7 Warlock, you'll have level 7 moon. And all you've got to do is spend one skill point on fiend to keep it available after you switch to Ninja, where you'd be able to flesh out any moon spells you missed.

Assuming you switch from warlock to ninja around level 12 or 13, and assuming you train every level at the wizard's guild, you'll be at level 7 moon and level 5 or 6 fiend when you switch over to ninja. And you can train the fiend level up at the guild anyway, so the only thing you're missing is level 7 fiend spells. And I find I rarely use those anyway; by the time they're available, there are too many other easy ways to dispatch your enemies (such as tying them to a chair in the Brimloch Roon wizard's guild and forcing them to listen to Sebastio recount the last ten missions he was on...).

Of course, that's my opinion, and that's what makes the game fun: no matter how you go about it, every way you can play is the right way. Some are just more challenging than others...

I know but I use the warlock as an "add missed spell class". Not only for moon magic but for all of them. So I go through wizard->bard->samurai->assassin->warlock. I can then add all the spells I want but haven´t got in all the different classes. If it´s just moon then it doesn´t really matter

actually, in my opinion, the samurai and ninja class are like 2 opposites:- 1 trains in sun, the other in moon; 1 always tend to attack stealthly, the other in the open but stylishly!
so i would go for either one, doesnt matter which one comes 1st.......
