Take a look around you. Have you explored everywhere? Think about how the people of the town must get from place to place. This might be one of the rare instances the spell Clairvoyance might help you.

It's hard to see, but one of the buildings has a ladder inside that takes you to the rooftop, where there are more ladders waiting. It might help to turn up the brightness settings of your game.

I don't recall the ladder being difficult to see. Just walk inside the building on the right close to the cliff, climb up the ladder to the roof, and then you will find yourself at the top of the cliff.

@ Illumina: how would Clairovoyance help you here? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the city is automatically mapped out for you.

Well, I missed it the first time I walked in the building at any rate. If the brightness control is set to its default and one is not looking carefully, I think the ladder could be missed. Anyway, visibility is subjective.

Well then, if that's the case, it won't help at all... It's been almost a year since I've played, so my memory is fuzzy. Now that I think of it, you're right, and Clairvoyance won't help at all. Mark your calendars, everyone... I was wrong.

June 3, 2006. I'll try to remember the anniversary for this special occasion for next year.
