A Fairy Tale for the Assertive Woman

Once upon a time,
in a land far away,
A beautiful, independent,
self-assured princess
happened upon a frog as she sat
contemplating ecological issues
on the shores of an unpolluted pond
in a verdant meadow near her castle.

The frog hopped into the Princess' lap
and said, "Elegant Lady,
I was once a handsome Prince,
until an evil witch cast a spell upon me.

"One kiss from you, however,
and I will turn back
into the dapper young Prince that I am
and then, my sweet, we can marry
and set up housekeeping in yon castle
with my Mother, where you can prepare my meals,
clean my clothes, bear my children,
and forever feel grateful and happy
doing so."

That night, while dining on lightly sautéed frog legs
seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce,
the Princess chuckled to herself and thought:

I don't freaking think so.

I love it! Can we all sing a resounding rendition of "I Don't Give a D*** If My Prince Ever Comes or Not"?

hmm - wonder how a PC version of the Princess and the Pea would go?

The Princess and 2 fakes posing as princess - to tell them apart, the king stacked 10 mattresses, placing a frozen pea under the bottom mattress. In the morning he asked them how they slept

1st fake: "nicely - ever so comfortable"
2nd fake: "bit hot to start with, but had a kebab and went to sleep"
Real princess: "I didn't - not at all"

The king, pleased at this, asks why not

"I was s****ing a jockey all night"

And then probably ending her night of passion by having a bloody good punch up and shouting match with the little fellow resulting in the rest of the royal household 'not getting any sleep' either.

Our Royal Family's the envy of our world-they're so special (needs)

That's probably me on a high treason charge, bugger.
