Don't kill him. He may be a jerk but you'll miss out on a quest if you do so let him live.

I don't think you miss out on anything if you kill him on the ship after leaving Brynnlaw. Wait until the Githyanki are attacking, then kill Havarian before he teleports / gets killed or whatever.

Saemon Havarian is invulnerable on the ship... believe me, I tried. I pitted the entire party against him while the Githyankis were slaugthering his men... ...

I have not tried INT-Draining him yet though.

I killed him on the ship. I think it was power word stun first then he was meat.

Actually he is quite killable on that ship. The thing is - there's not much time to do it, as he tries to sneak out through a portal. I let him live after the first "cheat", but second one was way over the limit and just as he put his leg into the portal - down he went. Fitting reward, I'd say

Hmmmm, I guess I was not trying hard enough. Oh well, plenty of opportunities to kill him.

Intelligence drain and power word stun? What's wrong with a good old "hit him with a great big sword"? It worked fine for me.

Yes, it usually does. And even when i killed him (he's worth 18,000 xp) he still resurrects himself in toB! (which is quite funny...I had "gore" on and he went flying into little pieces-HWO can you resurrect someone when they've done THAT?

Can´t you just ask your Shadow freinds to give him one in the gut?
