Don't get it! It only tempts you to do things you regret!
I thought i would get it to put some quest items back into my inventory... i ended up boosting my character stats, giving them amazing weapons and spells... Now they carve through everything...and i have lost interest in the game!!!!! However, i have repented and will now play normally... ANYWAY! SPOILER! In the mind flayer levels, is there anything special i can do there other than get some enchanted axe? And can someone tell me if i can make something amazing on this anvil? As I vaguely recall, you need a Dwarf (I think the dark Dwarf kind) to make something on the anvil. Never had one, so can't say if what he makes is worthwhile or not.
The main thing in the Flayer lair is to get out, either by killing the big brain or intimidating it into letting you leave freely without a fight. |

I think you either make a Keen or a Masterwork Battleaxe with it, and there's no change in HoF.

concerning Dalekeeper, I have never installed it, not do I think I ever will. Like you said, its too tempting. I've found the normal game to be easy enough.
