Partially because of the upcoming PvP tournament, I was wondering how high of an AC most high level characters have. I have a level 35 monk with 75 AC that is pretty much untouchable until I get to the proving grounds. My level 35 Paladin / COT is much lower (I think around 52 or so) wearing Armor of Torm +9 (the best heavy armor I could find)and wielding a greatsword. So how high are your best characters?

AC 60 or so, on the level 40 cleric.

AC of 113 on a tank/wizard fully buffed.

AC of 93 on a rogue

AC of around 70ish on my main fighter/weapon master.

I was afraid of an answer like that. How do you get to 113 (I understand if you want to wait until after the PvP, of course, but I am very curious)?. My tanks are nowhere near that, and subsequently get slaughtered by the higher level monsters.

3 Classes

Bard, RDD, palemaster.

He has full plate and can cast epic spells.

His AB is still a bit cruddy.

Ohh BTW I have a Dev crit character with Epic Dodge and SC V as well. His AC isn't that high but he is hard to hit.

Now that just sucks (for everyone else)...

Another RDD mix to get the 25 ST, 30 Dex?

Take heart; I've found that having a high AC, on the whole, simply means that you're weaker in other fields.

I've also found that having a high AC, Epic Dodge and SV 5 won't help much against magic. Oh, and sneak attacks and devestating criticals aren't scary either, you've been warned

It's the magic that will win the tournament.
And I'll say it again after wiping every last floor of undermountain with your behinds

But they're neat builds, I'll grant you that.
It would have to be an elven Bard/RDD/ (Rogue or ShadowDancer).

Start off with Str 17 , Dex 20 and one extra point for Constitution 7 and put all attribute increases into dexterity.

Pre-epic feats would include Dodge and the Power Attack/Cleave/Weapon Focus/Improved Critical/Great Cleave prerequisites for Overwhelming & Devistating Critical. Epic feats would have to be Overwhelming & Devistating Critical, 2 Great Dexterity, Epic Dodge and 5 Self Concealment feats. That leaves you with one extra feat (hint: weapon finesse)

It can be done, but as T-D-C mentioned the AB is poor and I'd rather not talk about total HP .

Yeah Dev crit isn't the be all and end all.

I am still trying to decide who to bring.

I have a sorceress that I havn't used in a while. I might whip her out....

Decisions decisions.
