I'm back!
PC doctor ccame to fix my wounded computer, installed latest video card driver.Game running pretty good so far in Win98. My Ratling warrior/barbarian has just become a ninja. Hitting hard with a Katana+1 blessed for hit and damage. Should I keep him doing this or will he become better (he will be an assassin later) if I have him using hands and feet and pump Kung-Fu skill? Secondly is the only way he can hide in shadows by someone casting a shadow spell on him or am I missing something obvious again? Glad to be back, Zero. PS.grateful thanks to all those who tried to help me through recent problems, especially Detah. |

My opinion on weapons vs. kung fu... I haven't found a way to enchant hands for extra damage yet.....
As for hiding, once you have the Cloak of Night trait, you can learn the stealth skill. That lets you hide in shadows by clicking on the dragon icon on the left and selecting "Shadow Cloak".

My 22nd level ratling ninja struck alot quicker with hands than weapons, note if you put a breather in his off-hand he will attack twice.

Hmmm.... I'll have to try that in a little bit. I've got a level 17 Zenmaster who was previously a Ninja, so I'll do some hit frequency and damage comparisons.
