News reports that Saddam has been arrested in Tikrit.

No official confirmation from the US or UK yet.

CNN is reporting that there is a "high degree of confidence" that it's Saddam, however the US officials seem to be leaving an "it wasn't him" option open.

No point in getting killed because of the orders of someone who will never come back to see if you carried them out, don't you think?
Of course the attacks inspired by Islamistic radical groups will not cease.

Man he looks stupid with a beard, you can barely even recognise him.

They have said that it is definantly him, they have even shown many pictures comparing him with older "Historical" photos.
