Default RAAAH!!! I HATE WINDOWS!!!

I am testing out some ideas I had with DC and wall art... and figured I might be able to pick up on the viewport coordinates if I play with it. But I go to load a wall I made for testing purposes and it can't find it. I -KNOW- I have it in the right folder, I -KNOW- I have the right filename, I -KNOW- that there is no reasonable issue that would keep DC from saying "oh, its RIGHT THERE in the folder I'm in...."

except its windows 7...

I've never used W7...

Can you open the folder the file is in from within DC? And it's in one of the "legal" graphics formats?

ok, I figured it out... but I don't know why it works this way...

Anyhow, apparently windows 7 tries to save like bookmarks as to where you last visited a place with a program at, as in I was looking in the wrong file location, under a different mod; becuz the last file I added to my artwork, even though it was with a different mod and it went into another folder (the mod I made for testing siege ideas) than this one. As in DC didn't look in the mods directory for resources, it went to the last place that a file was added using DC was... as in a different folder entirely.

This is... interesting...
and bears repeating, ALWAYS check the location you are sending to AND the location DC is looking for a file...

ps, kinda feel silly about this... kinda don't as it makes no sense (windows) as in why would a loaded mod start looking in another mods resource folder?

This is not an error - we want DC to look in the last place that you were at. Paul and I had a fair amount of discussion about this and think this would be best (we asked in forums and stuff, too.)
Why? Most people want a central place for all of their resources - a central repository, if you will, where they keep all of the art, sound, etc. The idea behind the 'resources' folder in the design is that it will help clean it up so that someone completely new to DC will open the design and just see an executable and a readme file.
