It's looking increasingly likely that the Attorney General did change his legal advice at the very last minute to give the government the go-ahead.

This whole affair stinks. That's what we get for having Blair's childhood friend as the government's legal advisor

This ground has been covered over and over again. So it was illegal - what is it going to change now? Nothing. Just be a few people around that will want to ignore the truth and some that will feel vindicated. It doesn't change anything for your average soldier or citizen in Iraq today.

I killed a guy. So it turns out it was illegal. So what? Can't do anything about it now.

If the war was illegal, then shouldn't there be some sort of sanction or punishment? Just a thought.
