Epona on Holiday

Hey Everyone! Epona asked me to let the board know she's not avoiding us, she's on VACATION! She's off to sunny Italy for the week and her plane leaves at some ridiculously early hour. So let's all wish her well and hope for warm wonderful weather in Italy!

Epona- we want new pics of you from sunny Italy now!

Yes, Moridin they do tend to get around, don't they!? I'd love to see Italy, myself! Especially Venice. I was in Leningrad and the canals are nice but I hear Venice is incredible! Anyone else been there? Want to tell us about it so we can drool? Moridin? Anything you especially liked?

Venice truly is one of the most spectacular 'cities' that I have ever been too. The first thing you notice after departing the train station, is that there are NO cars! You get around either on foot or by boat

Also, there is no 'new' construction allowed in Venice (you can renovate inside, but can only restore on the outside) so everything is as it looked 300+ years ago! It is just to hard to put the beauty of Venice into words....although I am sure Yorick could do so quite easily

A funny story from Venice...we were to go from Milan to Vienna but 6 of us decided to take a very early train from Milan to Venice and then catch a very late train that same evening to Vienna...so we had a whole day of sightseeing. We made our way through the city eventually arriving at Piazza Saint Marco...a huge square surrounded by Greek like columns on three sides and the Church of Saint Marco on the other. As is the case in almost every 'square' in Europe this one was overrun by pigeons. We decided to buy some corn to feed the pigeons b/c they will fly right into your hand to eat. Well I stood there with corn in my hands...so one pigeon landed on my arm, then a second, a third, and finally a fourth, and then one decided to land on my head! So here I am with 4 pigeons on my arms and one on my head...my only thought was..."please don't poop"

I do have a picture of it...how do I go about putting it on Stealthys site?
