I love playing Darkstone but I was a little annoyed by all the reviews saying it was a clone of Diablo. Sure there were similarities but for me Darkstone was a far more interesting game and the main quests to get the crystals were more mentally challenging than all the hacking and slashing of the quests in Diablo. I am also playing Darkstone for the third time and I am still not tired of it. I got through Diablo once which was OK the first time and tried to play it a second time but it was painfully boring. Of course everyone has there own opinion and I can see some people enjoying Diablo more. What are does everyone else think?

Personally, I have never had any problem with the Diablo/Darkstone thing. I loved original Diablo, hated DiabloII and still play Darkstone

I was thinking about buying Diablo II but I wasn't sure what it would be like.

I have already posted my views about the differences and similarities between Diablo and Darkstone. Please remember that Darkstone was pushed slightly to be released before Diablo 2 (and my but didn't those people at Delphinesoft get the D2 release date wrong by about three years). I enjoy playing all three but find that Darkstone players are harder to find if you want a multi player game.
