VISA Electron is a debit card by the way. I want to have an online server without the ads, but Angelfire does not accept VISA Electron, and I do not want to get a credit card.

What exactly are you looking for then? A space to host your pictures? (I'd advise NetFirms then, no need to pay for a picture host when there are plenty of free alternatives ). If you're looking for a paid host with cgi support and all and don't mind paying for it, I'd advice Phpwebhosting, which is pretty stable except for Sunday evening CET when it's down a short while for maintenance purposes. I'm not 100% sure if you're able to pay there with your VISA, but there's a good chance I think. I was able to pay for my phpwebhosting server space with my Mastercard as well

They do not accept debit cards, and I need a website that does not have ads. Netfirms looked promising, but it required a 3rd party FTP program which I do not have.

Erm... WS_FTP95 LE is a free download... You might wanna head over to http://www.download.com and then search for that program. It's a very standard ftp program but it works perfectly.

Problem is, I do not have a home connection, and it will be troublesome to download it everytime I use an outside com.

So you're posting from a computer at school or something? Hmm, maybe you should check out whether they have any type of ftp program on them, you never know... Computers here are also standard equipped with WS_FTP.

Oh, and are you allowed to bring your own 3˝ inch disks to use, or is that forbidden (not aware of the policies there, of course )? As WS_FTP95 LE is small enough I think to put on one disk.
