The best Lotr game I ever played was the one on the Amiga, an excellent game altough quite dated by todays standards. Still its worth playing if you can get hold of it.

Universal is working on a series of LOTR games now, and they plan to have EIGHT in total. First one's called the 'Fellowship of the Ring' (surprise surprise) and they're going to be in 3D.
EA is also working on LOTR games, and your link refers to theirs.

Also take a look here.

There'll be games for the X-box, Gameboy Advance and unless Universal and EA are stupid, which I don't think they are, there'll be some for the PCs and PS2s as well.
