I guess I should go and look at Bioware financial statement before I say this and get blasted but here goes. I doubt Bioware is just swimming in money. Think about it how many people spent how long coding this game? I am all for supporting a very good game but I would not buy several copies of it if it were not for a good reason. When a good game comes out though I want that company to do well so they make more of what I like. No I do not have tons of money just to spend on games. I feel the heat already coming my way.

OK I just found this so I do not feel that bad.
It came from Bioware's web site under About Bioware. Founded in 1995, BioWare Corp. is a privately owned Canadian corporation based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk are the Joint CEOs and Co-Executive Producers of BioWare’s game BioWare currently employs over 135 people |

THIS should have come out at the same time as the 'plain' version..
I won't buy it. If they added tons of new art, portraits, tilesets and TONS of good USABLE stuff, I would have.. A t-shirt and some trinkets don't really matter to me..

I've a question for all of you then: I do not have NWN. Would it be worth it to get the collector's edition (as a Christmas present), or would the regular edition be better in my case? I admit, the extra stuff does look pretty cool.

I agree with Chewie...if I did not have the game yet, and had the money to get this new Collector's Edition without taking food off of my baby's plate, then yes...I would prefer to have the Collector's Edition. It all depends on budget, in my case.
