Not too original here... But just the regular Longsword. It suited me perfectly. And you'll find some very decent longswords later on in the game.

Haven't tried em *all* yet but so far my favorite is a scythe. On a critical hit scythes do *big* damage. And it's quite easy to get one with keen, and improved critical. Besides they look cool!

Well, I have no coice. Playing a monk means Unarmed Combat.

Although I like Longbows a lot, and use them as a means of starting the attack from afar. Having lots of speed as a monk also means that sometimes i can give enemies the total runaround, get in a shot and run some more, which means defeating many enemies without taking damage.

Frightfully marvellous

Just a question...I consider using two bladed swords, is it a good idea?
Are there any good ones out there?

Scimitars... there's nothing like getting a keen scimitar along with improved critical, a threat range of 12-20 is nice

My bard has a +1 longbow, a +1 crossbow and a few enhanced items (sht swd and club). She just leveled up to 6, but we hadn't finished everything in the docks before being whoooshed off to the Helm Hold.

I use 2 longswords at one time and frequently change types-.
Axe's were a MW favorite!

I proficiensize (is that a word ) in katanas, scythes, warhammers and long swords, switching between what is best for the situation. Nothing quite like a scythe doing 120+ points of damage though.
