anyone got these figures? would be nice to know, just so i can work out how my bad luck is affecting my hitting chances [img]tongue.gif[/img]

so the smegger should still be easy to hit, hmmm thac0 4 so im hitting him on a 7 on a d20 thats pretty good odds to hit him, so mr random number roller when i get to sarevok you better give me my odds ! [img]tongue.gif[/img] i want a 2/3 hit or thereabouts thank you very much but if its anything like the kobolds ill be sitting there flailing wildly

Billy forgot that he also has 99% (or thereabouts) Magic Resistance. (I think.) And remember, Grungi, even if your arrows hit him, they'll only do half damage.

I should also note that all of Sarevok's equipment is non-removable, so if you were licking your chops at the thought of that RoP+2 or his Sword, sorry, but you don't loot a single thing from his corpse.

Nope. Not according to Infinity explorer. IIRC, I've used magic missiles against him without a problem. (though it has been awhile)

I think he only has that 99% magic resistance the first time you encounter him. The final one doesn't. I have absolutely no trouble hitting him with spells. In fact, without spells I'd have never beat him in any of my games.

And... A +5 TWO-HANDED SWORD IN BG1??????? Holy crap....

i remember i couldnt loot him the last time, and i dont use missile weapons much to be honest anyway so im not worried about that, ill just be hasted and hackin away at speed [img]smile.gif[/img] and as my criticals sometimes do up to 40 should be fun [img]tongue.gif[/img]

That's odd.....Sarevok definitely does NOT ahve any Magic Resistance in his fight with Gorion, yet I *definitely* remember him having MR from somewhere. Maybe it's a BG1 / ToSC discrepancy? I dunno......

you can get the sword in bg2 but it's power has been greatly diminished(it's +2 now) It draws much of it's power from him, telling you how powerful he truly is
