I know and I agree. We are in complete agreement here, I was just stating that at the core, Bards and Gadgeteers are non-magical. It is the items which produce the magic party, not themselves.

Why don't you just create "no mana" parties? Nobody can deny that Bards and Gadgeteers have no mana.

..how do you get Noxious Fumes from a porthole and pot with hinge? There's got to be some magic or engineering skill there.
Have you actually ever had the misfortune to use a portable toilet known as a Port-o-Potty? Trust me there is nothing magical about the "Noxious Fumes" they emenate, unless of course you believe the old ditty.

Beans, Beans, the magical fruit...

Perhaps our Gadgie had some beans sitting around the campfire. I can see it now. Gadgie eats beans and goes to sleep. Other party members are awakened by an unusual noise then begin to gag. One bright fellow among them parks the hinged pot against the offending source. Voila! In the morning we have a pot full for the baddies. Come get some!

Welcome to Ironworks Flamestryke! You have a really good Wiz8 site. It has been suggested several times here.

Welcome to the board Flamestryke !

BTW : Didn't know that "Port o'Potty" is a portable toilet. I like beans and now I understand why those Highwaymen always start puking when they come too close to me

I'm just glad that my party dosen't carry all of the water used by the Gadgeteer with the pump and hose to create tsunami !!

And I'm surprised that nobody's stopped to argue about those weapons with various effects, like the Flame Staff, Winterwand, etc.
