Just a quick tip about recruiting fellow party members.

You will meet (and will have already met) a number of Non Player Characters, who will want to join your party. A good mix of skills in your party is essential. You will want characters that can fight well, Priest spells are very useful so you will want a Cleric or Druid, possibly both, and at least one Mage (I usually go for 2). A thief of some description is also a good addition to your party - having a good thief will save your ass on many occasions, I am sure! It depends a lot on your own playing style, which will develop after you have been playing the game for a bit, and these suggestions are based on my own style.

I knew a guy named hal with a berd once..

Oh just unless your being a palindin, don't worry about some stats.

Though I found out you can't raise any stats in the game.. make sure you have what you want..
