Ok, chaps and chapesses, now you've played right through SoA and probably ToB, you must surely know your weapons.....so post your top 10 weapons list and give a short reason why;

1. Staff of the Ram +6 (How much damage?!? )
2. Crom Faeyr +5 (massive DMG bonus due to STR and can be dual wielded - ideal off hand weapon)
3. Carsomyr +6 (wonderful sword, but only for paladins and thieves )
4. Ravager +6 (truly fearsome weapon along with additional 3D6 poison DMG is they fail their saves)
5. Celestial Fury (Best katana in the game, stun is really useful against all foes)
6. Staff of the Magi +5 (Powerhouse of a weapon if used correctly)
7. Flail of Ages +5 (massive elemental damage bypasses stonskin, free action, 5%MR, slow enemy...nice weapon and can be dual wielded)
8. Angurvadal + 5 (excellent long sword with high STR bonus, only obtainable late ToB though )
9. Sling of Everard +5 (no ammo needed, bullets strike as +5 and also STR bonus is applied!!!)
10. Silver Sword +3 (Ever chopped a dragons head off? )

Just falling short of the mark......but far from forgotten
 • Daystar +2 (sunray, sunray, sunray..... )
 • Strong Arm +2(the most damaging bow in the game....nuff said)
 • Gram the Sword of Grief +5 (Nasty level draining ability)
 • Black Razor (25 STR obtainable very quickly....only for evils unfortunately )
 • Firetooth +5 (despite shooting +2 fire arrows, they still strike as +5 in terms of enchantment!)
 • Mace of Disruption +2 (strikes as a +5 weapon, kill undead with heavy save penalties, neagtive plane protection, available early SoA)

Damn, there are so many more I could mention......

Lets see these lists then.............

3. Sling of Everard - obvious.
4. Axe of the Unyielding +5 - it goes "snicker-snack"
5. Lilarcor - how can you not love this sword?
6. Psion's Blade - anyone for sushi?
7. Belm - mix with girdle of strength and Greater Whirlwind for wonderful effect.
8. Celestial Fury - obvious.

Take into account that I havent fully completed ToB so:
[1]Casomyr +6-very good weapon, even if it is resricted to a few classes.
[2]Crom Faeyr- never used it, but it sounds good.
[3]Runehammer +4- dunno what the upgrade does, but it is good never-the-less.
[4]Mana Bow +4- very good bow for an Archer, better when he is hasted.
[5]Celestial Fury-Kick rs. Nuff said.
[6]Psion's Blade- anti-Ullithid, what else would you want?
[7]Staff of the Magi- ultimate Mage weapon.
[8]Flail of the Ages- can get you out of sticky situations frequently.
[9]Silver Sword- when you give it to Sarevok it gets even better!
[10]Sword of the Mask- very quick, very annoying... for the enemy.

REALLY?!?

By Mask, this is one of the best weapons in the game! Imagine an Archer with this puppy... drool, drool The sling of Everard is no longer my favorite missile weapon

My Blade is delighted that he took crossbow proficency. Unlimited +4 bolts through SoA, unlimited +5 bolts through ToB. Once more with feeling: wow.
