Mod query

Good morning!

I'd like to replay Wiz8 again. It has been quite a while.

Which Mods do you guys recommend that I use to make for the best gaming experience?

I'd really appreciate your suggestions. My first time thru the game no mods were available.

Oh! And, how do you install a mod?

Well I've only tried Flames final 1.04 mod (www.flamestryke.com) which is very good.

It adds a lot of race and class specific items that weren't there before, and adds lots of graphical differences to objects that all had the same graphic before.

Its fun but the game seems heavily weighted against you at the start, and in your favour later on, although that may have nothing to do with the mod at all.

In your next party have a Lord for (probably) a full set of the best armours in the modded game. There's also a new mace as the best weapon in the game, get it for the Lord or a Fighter. The Fighter with beserk does awesome damage with it (I've personally had 452 damage in one round!).

I'm fairly sure that they are not compatible as they both have new items added which would clash with each other. What I've done is have separate installations of Wiz8 for Flame's and DeathStalker's mods.

I've only just started using Deathstalker's mod and am still in the Monastery with it so can't comment on it yet, although I've just killed a mini-boss who dropped a dagger which gives +50 to the dual wield skill. Nice.

But definitely try Flame's mod first.
