haha i'm only 10 minutes old but i'm posting like crazy...

anyways, can someone explain the dual wielding and how the game calculates the damage? I used to think that when a monster got hit with a 2x sword wielding hero, 2 separate damage notices would appear on the message box, but instead im thinking now that the damages are combined. Whats goin on?

And whats the best Long Sword in the game? I have blade of roses +3, but for being one of the "most common blades on the sword coast", there aren't many of them!

Dual-wielding adds an extra attack. Depending on your prof. with it you can have penalties or advantages to the damage you do.

Best longsword in the game is Blackrazor. It's a pity you can only get it in the very end.

Welcome to the board!

a good longsword is Nammara which is +2 to hit +4 to dammge silence 15' thrice per day, and Flameblade +4 vs undead and sunblade +2/4 thac0 & damge vs evil+undead and sunray once perday. All can be got very early in the game. nammara and sunbalde in athkatla.

blade of roses is a pretty good sword, it's worth keeping. as the game progresses you may find a sword that will be better in some situations, but there are not very many that are as good in all situations.

Blade of roses is the best weapon to use in a store
In the game options you can turn on the rolls display, then you will see your normal weapon attack rolls and (left) rolls. You will also see your enemy rolls and that way you can estimate their strength better.
