I finally got the Shadow Keeper, but I don't like it. First reason is that it helps too much, and I mean too much! And the seacond reason is that you don't get other kits, but the kits for original BGII:SoA. IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY TO GET ADDITIONAL KITS (I WOULD LIKE THEM FOR TDD)

HELP!

to misquote the NRA "Shadow Keeper doesn't kill game balance. People kill game balance"

Shadowkeeper is a great tool for the folowing reasons:
 • It allows you the customizing of all party characters in a way the gfame never does (that includes sounds, colors, special abilities, disadvantages,...) and therefore adds an enhanced roleplay feeling
 • Item, Creature and Spell Browser are the best resource for the things that are actually in your game (e.g. modded) and are convenient to handle with the filters. It has helped me more than once in debugging a game
 • You can easily look up several Global variables without having to type several lines in the CLUAConsole
.
If you (ab)use this great tool for cheating it will ruin game balance but so will the CLUAConsole or extreme powergaming. Nobody forces you to cheat and if you do the only one harmed is you. So use it wisely and it will enhance your game instead of trashing it

I really like ShadowKeeper, GateKeeper, etc. I have been able to debug broken romances and do other things that saved me from going way back. Some romances are really tricky, and this can help you get past a glitch in the romance. You can also customize lots of cool stuff.

Laid down that RoP +2 accidently somewhere in greater Athlatka? Don't tear your hair out, go on a killing spree, or reload. SK it.

Look, as I used to tell my gamers, Roleplaying is pretending with rules. If you're going to cheat, well, just go sit in a corner and pretend instead.

well, to give you an answer, there is no upgrade for SK(atleast not to my knowledge), and even if there were, i doubt it would allow you to meddle with mods...

The new kits added as part of The Darkest Day are just that: They're new, and they're part of The Darkest Day. They are not part of the original game itself, and therefore Shadowkeeper cannot access them, because it can only access whatever is already on your computer. There is no way to get the TDD kits without actually installing TDD.
