Well, Sever, our summers can get above 100 degrees - that's in Farenheit not celcius. Now add 100% humidity to the mix and you get the idea: Hot, sticky, sweltering. But where I am from the summer days are often in the mid to high 80's on the average with tons of humidity. However, if you are in the south try months on end with heat and humiduty with some nights never dropping out of the 80 degree mark.
I lived in Houston, Texas for 5 years and the running joke was that Labor Day Early September)marked that half-way point for the summers there. The heat and humidity are relentless there. By the way, Wellard, ever since I was a kid I always wanted to visit your country. |

I'm cold this morning! I think it's probably 9 degrees or something. It can get down to 3 or 4 in the night here, but it's more common to be 5 or 6. During the day, depending on the wind and whether the sun's out, the max is usually around 23-25. Certainly not snow weather.

Sydney winters are generally dry and cool. If it's sunny and not windy it is often quite warm in direct sunlight. Winter days on a north facing balcony are often quite pleasant.
