I have about 15 books(half got in dragons eye) are these just for reading?

yes.although if it looks like you might need it, for example if it says journal or notes, dont throw it away. Most books are just for reading

I also got many books in dragon's eye. I think they are just for you to read and know more abt the story. I dun usually read them and just sell them away. But i find that you can only sell them for some pathetic gold. So, if my inventry is full and i obtain some better items i just discard them away.

one person who would like these books is that guy who has that shop when you first enter Khuldahar. some books i have found pinch a pretty penny. Now that i am playing the game from the beginning again with the TOTLM and HOW installed, the more gold i can get, the better weapons in khuldahar i can buy............gold....gold...I NEED GOLD!!!!.....

There are a few useful books. As someone said, the notes and journals are important. Also there's a mage in Khuldahar who's looking for a book on a specific topic.
