Personally I'm wondering why they're making a film where the hero is a lawyer

I just know that w/ ben affleck in it it will be cheesy, because I'm sure they had to write it cheesy to get him to play the role. I think he should stick to romantic comedies if you ask me. I don't know about a black kingpin either. I suppose it is possible, but it is not at all like the comic books, which are supposed to be the basis for the movie. It really makes me wonder how close to the comic books it will actually be with this glaring mistake already apparent.

well ill go see it but im not holding my breath.. i think they could have found a better actor than ben affleck.. sheesh almost as bad as casting nicholas cage as superman... doesnt anybody remember that rumor...

I've heard somewhere that Nicholas Cage is going to play the Ghost Rider. Personally i'm looking forward to Daredevil as he's one of my favourite super heroes. And as far as Micheal Clarke Duncan playing the Kingpin I think getting an actor who is right for the part is more important than someone who looks like the comic character.

My immediate thought on seeing the trailer for the first time was 'Oh my GOD, it's Marcellus Wallace from 'Pulp Fiction' - as a supervillain! [img]smile.gif[/img] Then I realised - no, wait, that's not the same guy, that's that guy who played the computer genius in 'Mission: Impossible'... oh well.

Next up - Vincent Vega vs. The Fantastic Four.

Micheal Clarke Duncan, who plays the Kingpin, was in The Green Mile, The Whole Nine Yards and Planet of the Apes as well as some others I cant remember.
