I just had a though: when this game was made, did the producers realise all the loopholes that they made for powergamers (like me)? As in, making monks able to be both lawful good or evil, perfect for turning them into paladin/monks for Dreadmaster/monks? Did they realise the giant advantages that paladins get, and how a party of 6 would gain 24 stat points total? Did they think of adding a single rogue level onto a drow mage, since 20 DEX and INT with one or two levels has you set for the game?
Okay, ramble off. I'm just wondering. |

Yes, they knew. A successful game will be designed to allow "serious" players to follow all the rules as well as "power" gamers to min/max their characters and exploit all possibilities.
Each person plays the game differently; there are no "right" or "wrong" choices.
