Hi MJG -

This problem has happened to so many players -

You can try to build a ladder out of crates or the like to climb over them

If you can - Vanish them - usually that isn't a spell players would have at this point in the game so if that is unavailable

make sure there are no other toads around

and use your most deadly spell - you want to kill the toad with the first strike so they cannot raise the alarm.

SAVE before you try!!

Hope that helps!

Are you using the patch? I believe the patch has solved toad problems for some players but I personnally preferred to play without the patch.

Let us know how you do!

Flamestrike has been my favorite spell to take care of him... and I can verify that the patch doesn't always fix the problem.

Have fun in Ishad N'ha-ha-ha!

Opposite the pile hut with the entrance there is another pile hut. If you take two crates from the first and stack them in the water right between the two huts. Then jump from the platform of the first hut down on the crates and from there unto the next platform. From the second pile hut you can climb back down into the tunnels and emerge behind the stuck toad.

I'm very glad you made it past that cursed toad. But i usually opt for elemental blast instead of flamestrike but least you got past him. Besides once you do the shinwiki quest you can kill them all i'm pretty sure because all you have to do for the warrior guild quest is descend down the ladda.
