Just got DSL (FINALLY). It's a little faster **BK running around internet like a kid in the candy store** I must say, this is amazing. How did I ever live with **shutter** dial up?? As the McDonalds commericals say, "I'm loving it."

ADSL is pretty good. But it's still not fast enough to play deathmatch Quake!

WooHoo!! They connected my ADSL connection today! finally I can see the joy of a 1.5MB/s firsthand.
I dare say I will probably not miss the good ol' 56k days though.

Going from modem to ADSL is great! I remember when I fist moved to cable back in 1999. I was the happiest drongo this side of town!

Speaking of 56k, I have to go from a 10 megabit connectoin to 56k every time I spend a few days with my father out in the sticks. I swear, there's nothing like watching paint dry while waiting for a page to load!
