Could someone help me find written evidence that tomatos are in fact fruit, rather than veggy's, which everyone seems to believe.
Thanks in advance |

What's the big deal with tomato's being vegetables then? I just eat them, don't think about what they are or supposed to be

If it has seeds in it, and it started as a flower, then its a fruit. |

Vegetables, as the word is used in everyday language, is a rather vague term.
I would say that a tomato is both a vegetable and a fruit.

i've always considered it a veggie as i dislike it and most other veggies, but i like most fruits. i really don't care one way or the other tho, i'm still not going to eat it.
