Not all coins are round, i happen to have a few square coins. From some Asian country if i'm not mistaken, i'll have to dig them up sometime to be sure.

Does this make me a geek, or what?????
no it makes you really cool because the question is useless and anyone who knows the answer to a useless question is cool in my books.

OK, some sewage covers (the concrete ones) are round, but there are square ones where the sewers intersect.
Stormwater covers are rectangle or square.
Drainage grates are rectangle.

Or a manhole can also be something in a celing (roof), and those are square, but I'm assuming you mean the ones in the ground.

Anyway, I wasn't being serious as this wasn't a serious thread, there is obviously the exception, but the vast majority of manhole covers round here are square or rectangle, the ones in sydney are round, but I don't live in sydney do I?

How do WE know? You could also be an advance agent of infiltration for the hideous race of square beings that scheme even now to take over our geometrical world!

Or, you might just be british intelligence agent!

[/QUOTE]there's allways that, but I was getting at the fact that Hivetyrant lives in Orange and he should know that not all man holes are round especially if he's posting it.

Can any man fit into a manhole that is not round? And if a manhole is square, is it still a hole? These are the questions that bricks ponder about.
