Isn't there anything better to piss'n moun about then this? I know how about the nearly 1,000,000 being killed in the Sudan and the UN is talking to the mudering sacks of horse manure telling them "You had better let the aid in" Yeah right, what the "Hale" is the UN going to do? sit on their collective rears-ends for 12 years and pass resolution after resolution while people, you know human beings, others that live on the world and have a say so in what happens. (same agruement that is used as justification by some for sticking their nose in the USA's business) Are being killed, murdered and starved. It's probibly to much work for anybody to get off their rear-ends and petition their gov't to do something, it might interfer with the time they are spending piss'n moun'n about President Bush and protesting him. How about the war going on in the Congo? Anybody trying to get their gov't to stop that? Anybody working on pressuring their gov't to do something about that? Hmmm I wonder how many Sudanese will have been killed while people think up a response to show me how mad their are about my post? I wonder if the few minutes, getting a letter or e-mail off to their gov't about putting an end to this killing, will be worth more then responing to me? I bet not, but I'd be happy to be wrong on this one.

Yeah, it's too bad Sudan doesn't have the world's second largest oil reserves. if it did I'm sure Mr Powell would be at the UN right now railing about WMD's the need to free the Iraqi Sudanesse people from oppression

of course I'm still wondering why we did not invade Liberia after Afganistan. Since Taylor was murdering his own people plus he was sheltering top al-Quada people for money after they got chased out of Afganistan. Oh wait they don't have any oil either, my bad. Plus Taylor is good friends with leaders of the Religious Right.

Lanesra, thanks for the linguistics lesson...but the comment by Donut just didn't make any sense to me...still doesn't. GWB doesn't put on airs, when he is at the ranch he wears Jeans and Flannel shirts like most ordinary folks, so wanting to see him in a "vest" which is not really part of the average US business attire just didn't make any sense....so would you Euro types like to enlighten me on what you are trying to get at? I apologize for being an uninformed american who does not understand your idioms.

Ahhh I suppose now I understand...wish youw ould have just said what you meant Lanie.....I had no idea you guys call T-Shirts vests. What do you call vests?

Ya know if you just want to make a thread to bitch about Bush, you should just say so. These stealth attacks are just lame.

There's no such thing as censorship in the media. You know, the evidence being because they won't show Bush in a t-shirt because it would sour his image to the public, potentially being a "bad thing" but they'll show pictures and exclusive footage of Kerry's daughter exposing her chest in a see through dress? Yea, censorship, ok

Don't you just love how Internet discussions can so easily drift from one topic to another. If I try really, really hard I think maybe I can see the red line between Bush in vest and UN/Sudan. Maybe.

My goverment cannot stop the killing in Sudan, if they could, they would. The only way for a small nation like Sweden to have something done is to create a opinion against the violence and the medium they choose for this kind of things is (Surprise!) the UN.

Umm you should post a link to that, just so we can all make fair assessments of the violation that is

You should also mention the stories about Bushes daughters and their "wild ways with booze".
