*grin* Caffine is the way forward bubbe especially if you're on a night shift.
And have I LZ! First off, no more being driven to work/football/to my friends house. The buses stop at around 7.30pm where I live, so I can't really do anything after that (as there is no way to get home, and I'm not paying £15 for a taxi!) unless I get a lift. No doubt I'll be made to take my sister where ever she wants. This "big brother" card my parents keep playing sucks.

G'day Sever
Hey I know ALL about shift work fella, I have worked it for 25 years or more. Some easy tips first ... First.. dont force sleep, if you are not tired dont go to bed, it is very counterproductive. Second ... during daylight hours spend time outside in sun, long story how but the short story is that the sun resets your bodyclock. Third ... exercise in the evening a few hours before 'bedtime' If you are still struggleing in a few weeks Sever PM me and I will pass on some very detailed tips. Working for an airline gives you great insight into coping with jet lag and body clocks. [ 06-01-2007, 10:15 PM: Message edited by: wellard ]

Awww Ivelliis, you will only be able to play that big brother card for so many years before both of you are all grown up. So enjoy it and make the best of it I say.

Bubbe good luck with the night shifts. They can be hard sometimes. I have been on them for years. But really like them. Wellard has some great tips there.
Glad I can in. I am away for about 4 days. And had a real old e-mial in there. The last time we went form the blue boards I lost my profile lol.

Brief update... down just 1-1/4 this week, making 38-1/2 pounds less over the past 11 weeks. I blame it on Memorial Day...
Down in Atlanta and Alabama this week, and meeting my brother for dinner tomorrow night. Life on the road...

Congrats, Bungleau, every little bit helps!
Sever, can't say as I've had the sleep problem to your extent, just a bit of jet lag on a few trips across the ocean but it went away fairly quickly for me, just trying to get back on local time, so I can't offer much advice, sorry! New beverages...well the Coke with vitamins sounds wierd but I've seen the frutiy Pepsi! LOL Hubby got a cherry one or something like that a few times and liked it. But he likes sweet sodas and I am not a big fan of supersweet stuff.
