Good morning, all. Yeah, SomeGuy, I have been to Tulsa. Nice town. Overcast and 48, here. I just had to take out the garbage, so I know. LOL, I always take our old dog, let her kick up her heels, sniff around a bit, remind herself of the past when we would walk for hours. She has arthritis, now, and can't walk with me. This dude was walking up our street, saw her sniffing in her favorite spot ("Let's see, that's Rusty, sniff, Spot, sniff...") and he hollered, "Hey, Mister, does that dog bite?" I replied, "Yeah, she does, but, by the time you get here, she'll be gone," called her, and we went in. LOL, she wouldn't bite a flea.

I don't know about the fuzzy radio, Wellard, I'm not up all night to listen! LOL And the times it's on during the day are when I'm usually at work, so unless I can get a chance to use someone's office at lunchtime I can't listen.

SomeGuy, I think it's cool you do stuff with your church group! Tulsa, huh? Never been there. What are you guys going to do there?

Awww, Attalus, your dog sounds sweet. How old is she?

Good morning everyone. Weather here is HORRIBLE today. All the schools in the area are closed. The drive to work was no fun. We had ice yesterday, today a good 6 inches of snow, so driving in snow over ice is no picnic, but I made it in with no problems, just slower then normal. Not so for my boss, she called a little while ago. Seems she got into an accident, she's ok, truck's not. So, to all you out there in the crummy weather, drive careful!! Better to get there late than not at all!

How's everyone else's morning going? Other than the weather, mine has been good. The minute I woke up, the kitten (who's actually a year and a half, but we still call her the kitten because she's the other cat's baby) was raring to play. Literrally bouncing all over and hiding under and behind things jumping out at me. She's so darn cute!

She is 14, Cloudy, but still in pretty good shape, bar arthritis and a few skin tumors. I'm just glad she has been spared me so long.

Tulsa, thats where my Godparents used to live until they bought 30 acres in Alabama. But Tulsa was nice for the most part. Sorry to hear about all that ice and snow Harley, come to Florida it is 61 outside and climbing to a high of about 72.

Harleyquin, I'm in upstate NY and we got the snow this morning too. But it's trickling off now. Managed to make my commute to work pretty slow, though! Took me 20 min to get onto the highway!

WOW! I got in on the first page of posts in the Cafe'!!!

Good reminder in the first post Cloudy. That's the main reason I don't visit here very often. Usually by the time I see a Cafe', it's at least 3-5 pages long. I figure "What's the use?", I'll just be out of the loop of conversation.

But I didn't come here to gripe, I came to enjoy myself....so I'll try to start a little IronWorks Trivia game. I'll ask a question about myself and see who gets it right, then they ask a question about themselves, and the cycle continues.

So, since I don't come here very often, who can tell me what drink I order when I do visit?

Howdy y'all
Well, I'm at work and being forced to endure the weather. I really hate having to be outside all day when the sun is shining and the temperature is soaring up to the mid 60'sF. It makes me pine for all those days when I have to impersonate a 6 ft tall popsicle or do my "amazing melting man" trick.

Hello, guys!

First time back in the Cafe since before Christmas. Hopefully I'll be around a lot more often. Still having to play catchup on all the work from when I was ill, and now final exams are upon us. I'm glad this session is just about over, and I'm doubly glad that they didn't give me a night session to work as well! I think they knew better than to do that. I'm already teaching 6 hours (full time for a teacher), plus doing the newsletter, advising Student Council, and serving on the Curriculum Advisory Board...I have a full schedule enough. Oh, and almost forgot...I'm overseeing the IBS corporate web design project that our students are doing, so I'm advising that as well. Time? Free time, what's that? LOL!!

Cheers,
-Sazerac
