The big difference between Real Madrid and Manchester United WAS that Manchester Exploited their Name much more so they got a lot more money from merchandise
This has changed however because Real Madrid is starting that too (they wanna earn back Zidane's 153 million gulden or 70 million Dollars

Anyway indeed Real has the three best Players in the world but Manchester United is much more a team and a "family" which was the feeling that Van Nistelrooy got when he joined Man
