Im not arguing with you You have a right to your own opinion. I am just curious if you would share with us why you think of him as a hero?
He lived, fought and died for what he believed was right, and, AFAIK, I share a lot of his opinions on what's right (and what's not). There's few people I could say the same about. I know there's probably some things I don't know about him, but as of now, to me, he's a hero.

And I'll do you that favour, The Hierophant, I don't have a Che t-shirt, nope (I wear all black clothes anyway, a silhouette would prolly look strange )...

He was a killer and nothing more. He sought to spread the most murderous idealogy known to man. And Guevarra got what he deserved in Bolivia.
I try not to have any heroes.
people all have feet of clay111!!!!!

Also, remember that one mans hero is another mans monster.
In parts of Europe, Alexander the great is thought of as a national hero and yet he carried out genocide against the macramé people IIRC, to name but one.

The thing is, it’s easier to have dead heroes than live ones.
A dead person is a known quantity in that they are not likely to do much to change their status in your eyes (unless of course of course new stuff emerges or something)

Take King Offa of Mercia, He’s been dead about a thousand years, and mostly we don’t know much about him, except for him uniting mercia probably and building offa’s dike to defend against the welsh.

What a hero!

Hope you never have need of the services of a fire rescue squad.
their clay feet might make them decide not to charge into the burning
building to save your socialist behind.

Edit: What is the strength of steel, compared to the hand that weilds it?
