Is she wearing the ring of wizadry? If not, I noticed that when she gained her next level after re-joining, she learnt a total of 11 levels of spells, including 3 level 6's( whilst wearing the ring). Maybe its a bug or part of the plot, as she is a child of Bhaal and Irenicus has tampered with her. Haven't finished yet so I can't be sure.

She isnt waering any rings of wizardry. I looked in the manuel and my mage has the correct number of spells for his level.she has the same number of spells for a specialised wizard but is not one. And its nothiung to do wit the plot as far as i can see, haveing completed the game before.

Imoen probably has a higher intelligence (and maybe wisdom) than your character has.
If you can increase your characters intelligence you will be able to memorize more spells.

High Intelligence does not affect wizard spell progression, high INT only gives you a better chance of learning spells, more spells per level in your spellbook, and the ability to learn the high level spells.

High wisdon only gives bonus spells to clerics (or at least it should do), i think druids also get bonus spells for high wisdom
