German (same thing as English in English schools):currently talking about a book ("A visit by the old lady" by Duerenmatt would be the translation)
English foreign language since 5th grade, talking about Australia
French also foreign language since 7th grade, watching a film "Jean de Florette"
Latin optional since 9th grade: the legend of Romulus and Remus
Biology microorganisms
Physics erm... Electricity by Induction
Chemistry good question (not paying that much attention) acids I think
Ethics Gandhi
Politics Communal Elections (took place 2 days ago)
Art a drawing of our shoe (YAAAY!)
Sports erm... translation please? I don't know what it's called in English!
History The Russian Revolution
Geography Europe, specially France and its economy

As I have been to an American school I can make following statements: German schools are a LOT better than what I know of American schools, especially in the foreign languages. We take English or French as a foreign language in 5th grade. Then in 7th grade, those who took French have to take English, those who took English have to take either French or Latin. In 9th grade another foreign language is optional, but most people take one. You can have either Latin, Spanish or (not always, only if enough people want to) French. In 11th grade you begin to specialize and quit certain subjects, for instance a foreign language, one of the sciences, choose between history, ethics (btw ethics is for those who don't take religion) and politics, etc. In 12th and 13th grade you specialize even more. Many students go on an exchange in 11th grade, some for a whole year. I am planning to go to the US for 2-3 months, I just have to find someone who can take a German exchange student for that period of time. BTW, I understand that most German exchange students that go to the US in 11th grade are put into 12th grade there and graduate with honors

Ok, I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but there have been times today I just want to get away from the tragedy's of reality, so if anyone else wants to just chat, they can still come by. Please, unless Cloudy says otherwise, lets keep the disasters out of this thread, since there are so manyu others discussing it. If noone feels like chatting, though, I will understand.

oh well... hmm... thats a bit more difficult, i think. you hafta download it, so i guess thats out... well, i think that MSN has a chat room function we can use... yes, i have just confirmed that they do. go to their People and Chat tab, then go to Join a community. the community will be HADB multi game. go there, and i'll be waiting.
